Long Story Short

 Savvy is a book about a special family: the Beaumont family.  Each Beaumont child gets a "Savvy" on their 13th birthday.  This book is about Mississippi's special birthday. But, the day before her birthday her pa gets in a terrible accident. Mississippi thinks her gift can help papa. Mississippi sets out on a journey to wake up her father. She brings some help.  Will Mississippi wake up her father? Or, will the story take a turn for the worst? I enjoyed this book. At first I thought this book was going to be boring but it wasn’t.  

 This is a series about three kids. These kids parents die in a fire. The parents left those three kids a fortune which a criminal/Actor tries to steal it. There are 13 books in this series. The books are written by, and in a way narrated by, Lemony Snicket. After, a while these books were made into a television show. The first three books are The Bad Beginning, The Reptile Room, and The Wide Window. These are excellent Books and I would definitely recommend them!!!!   

 I thought this was a very sweet book. I thought that this book would be very similar to The Secret Garden. It wasn't. Well at least in my opinion. This is a book about finding friendship and losing someone close or not as close to you. Then realizing the differences that can happen over time. There is a little boy who lost his dad. When his other dad started traveling and barley seeing him the boy developed anxiety. Also, a girl who didn't spend a lot of time with her her parents and then out of nowhere her parents die and the girl goes to live with her uncle and make friends. Last a boy who is smart and likes to spend time with his friends. I didn't like this book as much as I like other books but it was still good though this is not really a book I would recommend.

 The 26 Story Treehouse is the 2nd book in a series. The characters in the book Andy and Terry have a treehouse. Every book they add 13 stories to there treehouse and encounter some sort of mayhem. This time they run into the pirate who captured them when they first met. They defeated him once. Will they defeat him again? To find out you'll have to read the book. I enjoyed this book though you had to remember every little detail or you will get confused often though I think most readers over the age 5 could do it so over all I enjoyed it. Happy Reading.

 Besties work it out is a book about 2 best friends trying to earn money but getting in a ton of trouble on the way. After wards they earn the money and learn a lesson. Besties Work It Out is by the author of a pretty popular series about a girl named Olive. The 2 girls in Besties Work It Out: Beth and Chanda, are in Olive's series, and Olive is in Beth and Chanda's book. This book is a comic\Graphic Novel. It's a easy read takes about 1-2 days I enjoyed it and totally recommend it to other readers. Happy Reading!! 

 Absolutely Nat is the 3rd book in a series about a girl who is very self-conscious. The series is a good one and helps you know that it is okay to be different. It's an easy read and an enjoyable book. I liked it and finished it in 2-3 days. Absolutely Nat is  about Natalie's camping adventure. She rooms with her ex-BFF, and a girl who thinks she is more important than others. How will her summer turn out? You'll just have to wait and see. Happy Reading. 

 The Tale of Despereaux is a book and movie though I've only read the book. It has many stories inside the book. I prefer to read this book on audio then in hands though it is good both ways.  If you get board easily this is not the book you should read. Because in parts it gets boring. Desperaux is a mouse who is in love with a princess. Kate Dicamillo is a good author but not my favorite. I don't know what I think about it. So if you read it and think it's good than some of the other book I review might not be a book you like. But, if you read it than dislike it then you will also find that you dislike some other books I've reviewed.  Rebecca Rubin is a fictional character living in a real time line. I loved her because she is a girl in a big family. She feels she has so much to prove just so she can light the candles at sabbath. Rebecca is Jewish and even though I'm not I get where she is coming from. Her book is a fictional book with some real history in it. It's a great way to learn history and read, but also have fun. I think you should read this book and comment your thoughts. Read on!!!

I made a goal that in the year of twenty twenty-two I would read 100 books. I've all ready read 6. You have to read 9 a month to accomplish that goal. I've read: The Tale of Despeareux, Absolutely Nat, Besties Work It Out, Rebecca Rubin 1914, 26 Story Treehouse, and Series of Unfortunate Events The Wide Window. I would definitely recommend these to slow but advanced readers they're kids books. The Tale of Despeareux is a good book for adults too I think. The others not so much. Right now I'm reading Savvy which is kinda sad but still good. I will tell you my feedback on that book once I finish it. Good bye for now!!!
