Long Story Short

 This book is a decently old it is based on an average girl named Dorothy. Dorothy lived in Kansas with her Aunt and uncle. One day Dorothy was caught in a tornado that took her and her dog Toto to Oz: a magical land. She had killed a witch with her house. On the way there she made friends and went on a long journey seeking a way home. A lot happened on her journey but even though she was having fun she missed her family and just wanted to go HOME!!! I enjoyed this read and I most definitely recommend it.

 This book is a modern day version of the book little women by Louisa May Allcot.  I enjoyed little women but not so much Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy. These two books are quite different in my mind but some of the characters are named the same names in the books. In this book the girl father was away and there family was poor. They eventually made friends with the there neighbor Laurie. One day Beth got cancer and it was around Halloween all the girl stayed with Beth and watched a movie instead of going trick or treating.

 This book was about the life of 3 girls: Paulen, Patrova, & Posey. They all went to a dancing school. Poesy was the one who most enjoyed it. Though later on Paulen showed interest but Patrova seemed to like cars more than dancing she went in a few plays but she would much. rather hang out with one of their borders called Mr. Simson. I was not the biggest fan of this book I thought it could be better. My mom agreed. I would not recommend this book.

I loved this book so much. It’s so good! Flora and Ulysses is about Flora who calles herself a cynic. And, says that she has no feelings about anything ever since her parents got a divorce. Her dad used to write comic books but they would never sell. Floras mother wrote books on her type writer. Anyway, one day there was a squirrel who got swallowed by Tutie Tickoms vacuum/Birthday present from her husband Mr. Tickom. Flora’s neighbors are the Tickoms. Anyway this is a really good book and I don’t want to spoil it for anyone. Just two more things Flora thinks that her mother loves a lamp called Mary Ann more than her Flora. And, Flora gets a lot of help from a temporary Blind boy named William Spiver: The Tickoms nephew. 

 I thought this book was long and a little hard so I didn’t exactly enjoy it. My mom also read it and being more an advanced reader she said she enjoyed it. Which I get. So if your not an very very advanced reader I would not suggest this book for you. In a small town there lived a girl named Minli. Minli had a craving for adventure so seeking fortune she went to find out if there was a way or a chance that Minli could become rich or at least not poor.  91 story tree house was such a good book. I would totally recommend it. But, first let me tell you a little about it. Andy and Terry remember their book deadline. But, when mr. Big Nose calls he doesn't remind them about their book he gives Andy and Terry his grandchildren to watch and oh do they have one good adventure. They go to a place that Terry says is like Narnia. Then Terry and Andy get there minds erased. To see what's next read the book.
